Our client is looking for a Front Office Manager to manage the reception area of their Hotel. Successful candidate will act as the ?face? of the Hotel and ensure guest receive a heartwarming welcome. You will also coordinate all front desk activities, including calls, reservations and guests services. As a Front office manager, you should combine a pleasant personality with a dynamic professional attitude to supervise and lead our team. Our ideal candidate can deal efficiently with complaints and has a solid customer service approach. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensure front desk is tidy and has all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and informative leaflets). Handle complaints and specific customers requests. Troubleshoot emergencies. Ensure Hotel?s policies and security requirements are met. Schedule the front office staff and supervise workload during shifts. Evaluates the job performance if each front office employee. Maintains working relationships and communicates with all departments. Resolves guest problems quickly, efficiently, and courteously. Reviews and completes credit limit report. Receives information from the previous shift manger and passes on pertinent details to the oncoming manager. Checks cashiers in and out and verifies banks and deposits at the end of each shift. Wears the proper uniform at all times. Requires all front office employees to wear proper uniforms at all times. Monitor high balance guest and take appropriate action. Ensure implementation of all hotel policies and house rules. Ensure that employees are, at all times, attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to all guests managers and other employees. Monitor all V.I.P 's special guests and requests. Review Front office log book and Guest feedback forms on a daily basis. Maintain an organised and comprehensive filing system with documentation of purchases, vouchering, schedules, forecasts, reports and tracking logs. PREREQUISITIES: EDUCATION: Minimum two-year college degree. Must be able to read, speak, write, and understand the primary language used in the workplace. EXPERIENCE: Minimum of one year of supervisory experience, experience handling cash, accounting procedures, and general administrative tasks.
